Who does NavigAid serve?
Time-poor family members with an elderly loved one who need to know if they qualify for Medicaid funding to support aged care accommodation.
What problem do they have?
The paper-based Medicaid application form is complex. It can take weeks to gather the required financial, health and legal evidence needed for the application and if applicants are unsuccessful, it can cost them thousands as they incur unfunded nursing care costs.

NavigAid helps users navigate the complex Medicaid system. NavigAid supply a quick 'yes/no' digital survey experience to let people know their likelihood of qualifying for Medicaid. They also offer an upsell service to have a qualified person gather all evidence to support the application.
My role in the Navigaid project
Persona journey: defining the fastest question/answer flow to get each user to a fast answer.
UX writing: develop reassuring short copy to keep applicants answering required questions - reduced time to answer by 10-12 questions with my work.
Content strategy guidelines: defining the voice of the brand, Style guidelines, sales copy, privacy and terms copy.
